The Dome Hoop is 20 mm across and 4–5 mm wide, with a domed front that catches the light. It is hollow, so it weighs about three grams an earring, and it closes with a click-shut hinge rather than a post and back. The metal is 925 sterling silver under at least 2.5 microns of gold vermeil.
